Virtualtravelguides is a dynamic content supplier for international e-commerce companies. We specialise in mass content for worldwide destinations, focusing on online media. Our company is entirely virtual, and everyone works from home. Since starting out in 2003, we have grown to include more than 20 Asia-based freelance writers, turning out up-to 1,000 pages of travel information each month.

VACANCIES: WEB WRITERS (TRAVEL)?

Join our busy team of web travel guide writers. Work from home, flexible hours, 350 baht p/h, full or part time (minimum 15 hours per week).

Ideally we are looking for an individual with many of the following;

  1. Some commercial writing experience, impeccable grammar
  2. Well travelled, preferably Europe and/or North America
  3. Professional attitude, and committed work ethic
  4. Ability to work strictly to a brief and meet deadlines
  5. Consistently available in Thailand for a year minimum
  6. Fairly young and flexible, with an understanding of web publishing style

You will be submitting work on a weekly basis (no strict deadlines), writing guides on a variety of destinations from all around the world. All research is done using other websites, payment is pro-rata (based on task times), with guides ranging from 350 to 7000 words in length

Payment is made reliably on the 5th of every month for the previous month’s work.

Our busiest writers make approximately 40,000 baht per month for roughly 25 hours per week of intensive writing/researching.
